    [LC] Burton Albion (A): Build Up

    So moving swiftly on, Tuesday sees the 2nd round of the League Cup away to rising midlands side Burton Albion who were playing their trade in League Two only a two seasons ago. Managed by ex Red Nigel Clough who is at the club for his second spell, he started with them when they were in Southern League Premier Division in 1998 so it's quite a journey for both.

    Obviously they'll be up for this like crazy, Klopp has a good chance to scrub today's limp nonsense from our minds. Hopefully he'll ring the changes with Spurs up next in the Prem. Matip, Stewart, Can, Origi, Ings (?), Grujic will surely all start.

      How many changes are we expecting to make for this?

      I'd like to see Matip, Grujic and Ings start if they are fit enough, it would be a good chance to give Markovic, Ojo game time and Origi and Can starts. Will we make 11 changes and see Manninger start?
      The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                    It would have been switched to be at Burton, but they would have been compensated for not playing at Anfield

                        Looking forward to this. Burton will defend with their lives but they will get demolished with pace from Origi, et al. Burton fans will be praying we start with the same 4 forward players from Saturday.

                          I'm looking forward to a nice - couldn't give a **** game - after what has been served up so far.

                          Even our seconds (whoever the **** they are) are pretty strong so Burton should be good fodder for a bit of fitness and confidence.

                            Hoping we give game time to Matip, Can, Grujic, Origi and Ings. After Saturday's effort I'd be happy with a complete change....shame we have no other full backs to be able to rotate them

                              Anyone but the ****house, pluck someone off our terrace behind the goal.

                              Clyne, Matip, Lovren, Moreno

                              Godjic, Can

                              Lallana,

                              Mane, Godrigi, Coutinho.

                              If Godjic and Godrigi dont perform bring in one of Henderson/Wij and Firmino at Spurs.
