Don't worry about them. Reality will soon hit them once the window is closed.

      We're In Decline

Yup we're ****, we're getting relegated soon and we're all ****s for supporting a club rich in history and character because we haven't inherited billions of dollars.

If you want that kind of set up then play fantasy stock market or something. Lots of companies worth billions and make billions more on the back of wealthy investors.

Everton fans are optimistic because they think that their minority shareholder is richer than the Chinese and Arab states combined, when in fact, he's worth the same as Henry and Werner combined. They think they're going to be getting a new stadium on the docks, which they believe will be the best in the country. They expected to sign Mata, Witsel, and so on. Instead, they got Williams and Bolasie.

It will boil their piss if we get a minority shareholder who would take one look at Moshiri and ask him where the teas and coffees are. The fume would cause the city to be evacuated for weeks on end, given the amount of toxicity likely to be vented.

Everton can be on a high, but soon, they'll slam into some stinking results, and Koeman will be back auditioning for a Miss Piggy role, and Kenwright will be rubbing himself furiously with the Arteta money.

I presume all the doom and gloom generated on this silly thread is really down to a knee jerk reaction to yesterday's poor display. The bubble of optimism after beating the Arse was well and truly popped by that lacklustre performance.

Was it only a few days ago I read on here that Coutinho was going to be the new Messi, and wasn't it seen as comical that someone could spend £100 million on one player, How bizarre! How bizarre !

What a difference a week makes, there are now calls drop Coutinho and lets buy big because that's what rich teams do.

In truth is very disappointing but it is only two games in, the frailties in defence stand out to all and Klopp will know he has work to do, I for one have a lot of faith in him

He knows what he wants from his team and I trust him to get it working, maybe he'll need the transfer market who knows but I don't think Klopp's style to go and splash a fortune on some flash Harry player whose main ambition is lining his already silk lined pockets.

I hated yesterday's performance with a passion, like a kick in the stomach but I know it'll be better vs Spurs next week, I just know it.

We are not in a decline, the decline is over, we are trying to rebuild the club after hitting rock bottom and we've not gone about it the right way. We are solving the obvious problems and never have, we always leave one or two problems unaddressed. Have faith in Klopp but it will take longer than I hoped.

Whilst it's been obvious for a long time that we operate under different financial conditions to the real top clubs we still have some very good players and a very good manager.

I think we will do very well this season. Especially when the other teams start playing twice a week.

It still upsets me that 50% of people couldn't see the great job Rafa was doing with odds stacked against him.

Grates me no end, the support let him and the club down IMO.

The days where one club dominated football are probably over because there are too many good teams. Liverpool football club or anyone for that matter doesn't have a divine right to win everything. All we want is to be competitive and kloppo will make us competitive.

In order to sustain success you have to have really good structures in place so that any success isn't just for one season but for more. Kloppo and Fenway are putting those structures in place now.

For the first time in years were in good shape off and on the pitch.

                    Agreed.

Football is a farce nowadays, not happy about it but I'd rather join em if we can't beat em- which we can't. Not what I wanted bit football is so polluted nowadays I'm significantly less arsed.
                    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Thing is, every top player knows they'll be paid some of the top wages in football at those clubs, and the clubs will go all out to win the big trophies by trying to sign the very best.

They see a constant commitment to being successful, no fannying about.

But as i said earlier, they can afford it.

City debunked that one when they first got rich and United showed this summer its still not relevant. The best can be attracted by pounds over CL, especially if they see the bigger picture, that their arrival will spur the club into the CL and onto trophy hunts.

Money not everything of course buts its most certainly not a hindrance.

I wasn't very impressed even after last week. Most of our defensive issues are still there and it looks there has been no improvements. The doom and gloom is possibly because we all feel that we're gonna go through another season of up and down.
                              Are we winning?

You don't think Klopps worth more than two games into the new season to see where we really stand before possibly writing off the season
