Excellent half, should be winning by more but thats the way it is with us! I detest Mignolet with everything I've got.

Why did he pass it to Lucas - he just has an unbelievable knack of putting us in the ****.

That's the problem with Lucas. He makes touches like that in midfield when he miss controls and then stabs at the ball. Normally he misses the ball, takes the player and gets a yellow. In midfield you don't get punished so often. Here his inability to control a simple pass has ****ed us right up. Should have been shipped out in the summer.

Plus point is we look good going forward. Just need a little more care and composure and we could score for fun.

It's just annoying because in an attacking sense, we're probably as good as City.

The mistake again comes out of poor decision making. Lucas was in two minds and should have gone for the outside pass instead, even it meant booting the ****er into the stands.

I know goals change games and momentum plays a big part but how do we so often get ourselves into positions where we are 2-0 and look like we could go on and win by 4 or 5 to conceeding a goal from a stupid mistake and suddenly you look like it's going to be a 2-2 draw or a 3-2 loss? There is a real mentality issue with this team.

Mignolet is a weak ****er. He should be playing in the Belgian league.

Mig's not great but he's not helped by some truly awful defending. Defensively, we're an embarrassment - we seem to get worse every season.

Our attacking play is awesome and will get better with time.

Mignolet looking shakey - While Lucas made a big error for the goal, why does Mignolet play the ball to him under pressure - there's no point in doing that from a goalkick

He wasn't under pressure when he received it. Had Milner out wide an a player in the middle to play it to Lucas just had a massive brain fart.

Mignonette is poor but that goal was all on Lucas. He had time and wasn't under massive pressure. He went wide to give the keeper an option and duly received the ball.

On a side note, clyne isn't quite at the races today. Passes are out everytime and seems a yard behind everyone else for some reason.
