Firmino is some player, Mane and Sturridge are building an understanding. Lallana is playing some great football. We are fantastic going forwards, defensively we weren't too bad apart from the cock-up. It's looking good, we're exciting to watch when we're playing a team who are trying to play football against us. Just got to learn how to break stubborn defensive teams down. Great game and result today, well chuffed.

Largely a wonderful performance - we look super dangerous albeit still a bit dodgy at the back.

Really enjoyed that, aside from the Lucas brain fart.

How good is the new camera view of the game? Makes Anfield look amazing.

Amazing how much they miss him already

It makes the pitch look huge, when it's not.

It also makes the ground look bigger too.

Haha, burlesque is great. Really clever most of the time. It's a lot more deconstructed than it used to be.

Just had a girl singing a song about keeping her virginity until she is married so as not to upset Jesus, whilst extolling the virtues of being rampantly ****ed up the arse. Brilliant.

Sort out the stupid results against the **** teams and we'll be unstoppable this season. Its there for us. So annoying we let spurs away with a point and Burnley all 3.

Took a few minutes for my eyes to adjust to the new camera angle but it looks fantastic. I can't wait to go my first game in the new main stand this season.

As for the game I'm still buzzing about it. We've got the best attack in the league and as the team gels we'll get better imo. The defence will settle and I think we'll either challenge for the title or atleast finish 3rd.

I've been going down to Anfield on a weekly basis since the end of last season to check on the progress and it's a site to behold and I can't wait to see the plans for the Anfeild road end.

Also how boss has Lallana been so far this season? We are finally seeing the player we paid the money for.

Aye, cut out the ****ty losses, when it's basically down to our own stupidity in our half, or sloppiness in the opponents, and we'll be good.

I'm not into the new camera position at all.

We previously had the best position in the world before. Uniquely right above the action.

Now a telescope is required to see the details. Great for the greater set up and formations. But I wanna see the tackles and the shots.
                          Oh I don't know.

Wow what a game! Lucas' howler aside, I thought we commanded that game from 10 minutes in to the end. Lallana was suberb, always pressing, intelligent runs, amazing ball retention. Even Mig was very good today and put his face in harms way more than once.

Matip looks cool as **** and his positioning was remarkable. Didn't need to panic, just moved himself to the right spot and intercepted the danger. Can't wait until he bulks up a little, he'll be awesome.

If there was one weak spot it was our shooting from around the box (Lallana's goal notwithstanding). Henderson, Firmino, Coutinho, Wijnaldum and Sturridge were all a bit **** at it and in reality we should have scored eight.

One very positive sign was our game management, I thought Matip played a major role in this as our midfield were very comfortable passing back to defence knowing it wouldn't be hoofed back.

Great game and I'm very positive for the game away to Chelsea!

Oh and we're in 5th place, only two points behind Man Utd. Still early days but it's not a bad start after four games.

He passes and moves and likes to bring others in to play with a one-two around the edge of the area. Makes the occasional forward run past the backline and has the odd pop at goal from around the top of the box.

He has two assists in four games. He's a ball player who much more often looks for the pass rather than taking someone on.
