    Chelsea Post match

7 from 9 in London, well happy with that.

      Enjoyed that.

Work ethic was immense. Every player on the pitch tonight gave their absolute all.

Work rate was immense, looked out on our feet after 70 mins. Brilliant 3 points and well deserved.

I'll tell you what was satisfying about that - the side won it by playing the percentages, they neither panicked nor went dashing up field to try and grab a third late on - they stood and took the punishment. True Grit.

We did well to hang on there in the second half. Quality first half. We'll take a lot of confidence out of that moving forward. We have a lot of quality in this squad, hopefully we can maintain the consistency.

Feel a bit for Origi, great header there, hell of a save, the ball was behind him when he got his hand to it. He looked a bit off the pace and that would have done him some good.

Brilliant result. We need to keep attacking teams, they couldn't handle us in the first half.

I would have been happy with a draw before the game but would have felt devastated if we drew after that one. Excellent team performance and a number of difficult games out of the way early with lots of points from them too.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Luiz's face for the first goal, when he turns around and sees 4 red shirts have been given the freedom of Stamford Bridge behind him.

Superb result. First half we were unbelievably good. Second half you'd expect Chelsea to get a grip on the game. We are looking much more solid at the back, Matip and Lovren did really well. The Dutch midfielder was brilliant, worked really hard and played some neat football. Lallana was awesome, what a player he has become! Great goal from Henderson, goal of the season contender. Very happy.

Superb performance away from home against a top 4 side. Couldn't ask for more & I loved watching Klopp celebrate with the players. Such a great guy that the players want to play for. Very impressive all round today.
