That really was an excellent performance. We looked comfortable and in control.
I've been critical of our central midfield and central defence but they were brilliant tonight. Really encouraged by the Matip Lovren partnership.
I'm genuinely surprised by how good we've become in 5 games. Crazy to say it, but I'm starting to think that we could win the league (didn't think we'd get top 6 before the season).Another MASSIVE game

It was a most Unliverpool like performance. Finding a way through a good defense first half, clinging on and defending 2nd half, 2 things we have consistently failed at.

Huge 3 points, not too many sides will go there and win this season.
Still.. I can't quite remember a result this early in the season hanging around our neck as much as the Burnley game
2nd half, I would say we should have shown more in the final 3rd, yes we sat deeper but at times we won the ball back high and looked out of ideas for some reason. Coutinho/Origi were 2 on 2 but Divock stood still and killed the move, they scored shortly after.
Anyway.. Great win! 7 points from Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs away with a nice 3 at home against the Champions. Really good signs.Vive la FranceComment
