    Bloody drunk!

Anyway there was two huge postives from this in terms of performance

    1) the first half we were maginificent, played them off the park, as good as anyone in the league, it was perfect

    2) under pressure we dug deep, remained composed and got the result.....this is something I wasn't sure if this team had in them....thinking of last half hour against arsenal were we let them back into it and Spurs who came back and got a draw....I felt we just lacked the class to see them games out but we clearly have learned from them and the second half whilst lacked the sublime quality of the first showed a different and just important side where we dug deep and got the result

2 wins and draw away to arsenal/Spurs/Chelsea....id take that every single season
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I watched this in the Crooked Billet in Penge with Fat Mike, a pair of Dutch lesbians, 8 Belgian exchange students, 4 pensioners and a pack of local youths. We had a whale of a time and apart from Fat Mike I hadn't met a single one of them before tonight. A Liverpool supporting Dutch lesbian couple in Penge - who know their football. House prices must be about to rise. What a night!

Coutinho's pass at the end for Milner was superb, pity the defender took the pace off the final ball, Origi would have scored otherwise.

Most satisfying thing for me is that Mane was largely anonymous and we still dominated. Factor in we had no Can or Firmino and it really was an impressive performance.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I wasn't as confident when I woke to the news that Bobby F was out. Normally hearing that Phil was back in the team would give us a lift but it was more the dread of loosing the in form Firmino than the lift of Coutinhos return.

Mane unbeaten against them. LFC unbeaten with Mane.
