On paper they are a nice run of games but these really are the games we struggle in, we've picked up 7 points from 3 games away to Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs, we need to make sure we don't slip up in these games. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Thought the same last night. I remember us breaking the run of losses there - think Xabi scored the winner - and I was shocked to my core that we'd won at Stamford Bridge.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostRemember when we could never get a win down there???? Feels great now ha ha
Is it 5 wins in our last 9 there now?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Didn't we even have a poor record down there when Chelsea were ****, I seem to recall Bruno Cheyrou scoring to get us a first win there in ages as well. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37392086In 14 games against Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Spurs since arriving at Liverpool almost a year ago, Klopp has lost only twice. He suffered a 1-0 home defeat by Manchester United in January and lost the League Cup final on penalties to Manchester City at Wembley in February.Another MASSIVE game

Sounds good, it's literally 10 minutes away! What are the footie boozers up there now? I was under the impression that it was all gastro-boozers, especially now they've shut the Wetherspoons.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostHaha! I'm only up in Forest Hill now, we should catch up over some bevvies and a game. Maybe with some other reprobates crom Sarf.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

Tyler is a prick alright..... remember him when martial scored against us.....you'd swear it was goal of the century.....the cunt.....Originally posted by Phoenix07 View PostMartin Tyler is such a cunt. Audibly gutted when our goals went in.
Fitness levels looked great. To put in that work rate for 90 minutes, and still look strong, is very encouraging.

Yeah that's definitely the case, a few decent pubs but none for watching footy really.Originally posted by Venton View PostSounds good, it's literally 10 minutes away! That's a shame. Penge is on the Cusp of Gentrification (an ATP band name if ever I've heard one) so has retained its football dives. I don't know how long they will last. Judging by the state of the Pawlene Arms last night maybe quite a while...Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostYeah that's definitely the case, a few decent pubs but none for watching footy really.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad
