Both Grujic and Can look rusty to me.

Klavan is really well drilled, knows where to be, which makes up for not being the fastest. Nice to have 3 centre backs who are capable.

Grujic is going to be eased in I think. It's going to be difficult for him to win a starting position this season.

Were they? Hughes is very 2012 in my head as a transfer target. Anyway quite pointless now, it's interesting that he is still at Derby Co.

Had lots of potential - probably needed to move to play with better players to realise it, but stayed at Derby instead. As it is he's still a good young player in the Championship, just doesn't look the prodigy that he once did.

Derby 0-3 Liverpool. Good solid win. Bits of flair and a solid defensive performance. Like a rich tea with some whipped cream and a tangerine segment on top.
