[LC] Derby (A) - Post Match

Yeah it was a championship teams but they're often very tricky.

    We were excellent. Everyone impressed.

    Even Moreno, who was good.

Moreno was effectively playing as a winger though.

Which is where he should be.

That's how we win the league.

It's clear that emphasis has been on retaining possession in pre season. We're still prone to a few mistakes here and there which are likely to get punished by better opposition but we were professional and played well.

Karius plays much higher than Mignolet and gives us a platform to retain possession. He still flapped at a couple of balls though but he looks promising.
          Are we winning?

Good performance, job done with German efficiency. Hope to see a lot more of Karius. We've had 3 years of Mig and we know he's not good enough, lets see what this lad can do.

Yeah exactly what u want in these types of games, solid 3-0 win, no major issues or worries and game time given to a fair few that needed it

              Brilliant, can't wait for Saturday

Look where Karius is when we have the ball! Its not that far into their half either.

Gruijic and Can as a midfield pairing is going to be ****ing boss isn't it?

Both big, powerful, and are only going to get better. Both of them can pass and shoot too.

Showed the third again. About twenty passes all the way from the back. With a splendid finish.

Good performance without really hitting 5th gear. Great to see the understanding of Coutinho and Firmino, they're just on totally the same wavelength. Thought Origi was trying a little too hard and then BOOM, great finish. He needs to believe in himself more.

We only started to get a bit sloppy when we were 3 goals to the good and the game fizzled out. Can looked very rusty and a pound or two heavy, but that's usually the case with him, needs a few more games under his belt to get into the swing of things.

Also nice to see us making 7 changes and it not negatively impact the team.

I don't think anyone of the fringe or returning players have played their way into the first choice line-up though.

Yep. Very high. He's going to be crucial to how we progress our play under Klopp. I think he might have to wait a few weeks to get his chance though but wouldn't be surprised if Klopp starts with him on Saturday.

Bit boring after Origi's strike. Which is a good thing but not what I'm used to.
