We answered a few questions pretty emphatically yesterday didn't we!?

Milner at times looked an absolute world beater coming forwards

The front players are really clicking, the midfield is performing its job backing them up superbly and the back 5 look solid for the most part.

We've won 5-1 bagged a hatful again and yet it still feels like 'if we click we're gonna destroy someone' hopefully its the mancs on the receiving end of 7

Best thing we have now that we haven't in quite a long time is the fear factor - half the battle's won if the opposition's dreading playing you.

The fact we'll be going into games on the front foot rather than worrying ourselves with how to contain the opposition gives us a massive advantage.
          Hello mert.

Henderson is starting to give captains performances and we are starting to look good at the back with Matip, Kalvin and Lovren all looking fantastic. With Gomez set to return Sakho will not be missed.

I can't praise the team and manager enough for the turn around and if we do go on a title run it is going to be a great season. Unlike Rodgers team of 2013/14 we are not relying on one or two players to get the goals as they are coming from all over the team and the defence is much more solid.

Matip looks absolute class and reminds me a lot of Rio Ferdinand. What more can you say about Mane though which hasn't already been said?

I've got to admit after the 2013/14 season I like everyone else thought we would kick on the following season bbutton see what happened and seeing Rodgers treat the CL as nothing more than a inconvenience was infuriating after all the hard work that was put in the season before.

If we get back in the CL next season it's going to be massively different under Klopp.
I'd like to think that the Burnley game was a freak result, but I think it is too early to tell, I guess the current run of ~10 games will tell us. Obviously yesterday's game saw us put Hull to the sword, and not wanting to put a negative spin on it but we did miss a fair few chances, but we had already got an early goal to put ourselves ahead, had we not got the early goal, and missed a fair few chances and gone in at HT 0-0 or if we had conceeded a sucker punch how would we have reacted?

Based on last season's experience I still feel that this side has very brittle confidence - get a goal ahead and we can look like hammering anyone, go a goal behind and we look a poor side (hopefully the decent run of results will boost that confidence). IIRC we have been behind twice this season, in the first game to Arsenal, first half we were terrible and the goal on the stroke of HT changed the game, second game was Burnley where we went behind, played some decent stuff but didn't look like scoring. I think that we need to wait a little while longer before deciding whether we are beyond these types of result.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yeah, also imagine if Hull had scored 3 in the first half, and we'd had a player sent off, how would we of reacted then?

It only makes real sense to draw conclusions on what actually happened in a match, you can't base anything on the unlimited potential other scenarios that didn't happen. When we play well and win, there doesn't seem to be too much point in imagining what might have happened if we'd played ****e and lost.

We didn't play that badly against Burnley, we had alot of possession and created chances, the difference could be the scenario I described, against Hull we got an early goal, against Burnley they got the early goal. Goals change games particularly at home to these type of sides.

He was right about Arsenal though, I wanted them to go on and stuff Hull as I had Sanchez captain in FF, but they were content to protect their lead and see if anything falls for them.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

We did play well against them, but they were able to reverse the press for periods of the game and put us under pressure.
Of course they had some of the game...they were at bloody home. They play a high pressing game also. What do you expect.

Every Spurs fan I know (and I know a fair few) say they were lucky to get anything out of the match at all and that we should have battered them.

The only game we have messed up is Burnley.

Danny mills sounding a tit yet again

"Liverpool are entertaining going forward but defensively are a bit suspect. Against the bigger teams they might be found out, which is for me why they won't win the title this season."
                        Danny Mills for the BBC.

Arsenal? Chelsea ? Spurs ? all away and spanking the champions at home must be the other big teams then

Ha! What a cunt. And we are actually defending well anyway, might not be reflected in clean sheets but teams are barely getting any chances against us. Hull had 1 chance, Chelsea had 1 chance, Leicester had 2, Spurs had 2. I'll take that all day long!! Any mistake we make seems to be getting ruthlessly punished right now whereas Chelsea had far more chances v Arsenal than they did v us yet Arsenal kept a clean sheet, seems to be the way it's going for us at the mo but I'm well happy with how we are defending.
