Not sure they were so deep. Tactically they prevented us playing from the back and still had all their players facing the ball. This is not sitting deep.

As soon as we have a player facing forward in their half they have a line of 6 level with the 18 yard box, that to me is sitting in deep. Yes they have pushed up preventing us playing out, but the 2nd we get any form of opening they're immediately back in the deep position. The last 20 minutes or so its been the case, or at least that's what its looked like to me.

Midfield looks disjointed with the changes we had to make. Can looks very rusty and is no different to Henderson in that he can't receive a pass on the half turn. He is more comfortable receiving a ball when he is facing the direction the ball is coming from. Maureen has done what he's good at by spoiling the game and it's worked thus far

They can push up for goal kicks, free kick and when we're idol on the ball. But whenever we have time on the ball they're deep, have a watch now mate, if we carry on like the last 15 minutes or so it was fairly evident.

Hendo been so negative today, he has the potential to play some cracking balls up top as we've seen in the past .. wish he'd be more positive.

I'd like to see the pass count from him to Matip, seems to be every other pass he hits. I think he's trying to maintain possession in a game we're struggling to get to grips with though he's been very good lately and United are limiting our options.
