    Anyway, excellent performance.
Our GKs would make me consider anyone to be fair. Anyone.

If we'd had our shooting boots on that would've been a pasting. Can't fault us for the lengthy creative spells though! Do need to learn how to stay in control when we take our foot off the pedal, we have a tendency to become too passive and allow teams in.

All in all, can't be anything other than very pleased.

We should have won by more, we had some great chances, Foster made a couple of good saves, they had a couple of goal saving blocks, going forward we were fantastic. Defensively we still look very dodgy. Not sure what Karius was doing for the corner that lead to their goal, and we were lucky that the guy at the back post unmarked was offside, because no-one knew he was there.

I need to see it again but I thought that there was an offside in their goal. I thought that the referee was fairly poor as well he gave a number of nothing decisions their way and only gave us the clear cut ones. Also have referees stopped this clamp down on pushing and pulling in the box?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

          The Reds

Should've battered them but all I want is points on the board at this stage, we can batter teams when the pressure is off in early April when the league is wrapped up.

We battered them, and just didn't take our chances.

We are not perfect, but we look a hell of a team most of the time.

Another win The biggest downside is we will miss Henderson away at Palace, not a good fixture for us. Big Chris will be desperate to get a goal.

That's the first time I think I've heard Coutinho speaking English.

The problem Karius has is every game he's played in he's had nothing to do. He needs to have to make a save or two. A few hairy moments along the way but he's young and he'll improve. Same most definitely can't be said for Mig.

Good win this. Should've been 3-1 at the very least tho. Come on you Redmen

Hendo misses the league cup game he probably wouldn't have played anyway.

Glen Hoddle saying we need to do this against some good/big sides was quite possibly one of the dumbest pieces of commentary I've ever heard!! Thought the criticism of us was we only turn up v good sides and can't beat ****!

Kinda agree. He's been far from impressive thus far, but he has looked so tentative with little opportunity to shake it off. He could quite easily settle in and come out of his shell. Definitely not writing him off.

Hoddle's comments were embarrassing. 'I worry about Liverpool. They need to show this against the better teams - the Chelseas, the Arsenals...'. What a ****ing prick

I forgive hoddle the odd stupid comment because most of the time he is full of praise for us.
