He's done enough to impress. From what I'm hearing Spurs are also looking to play plenty of youngsters too as they have their own problems.
Mig
TAA Matip Klavan Moreno
Grujic Gini Lallana
Origi Sturridge Firmino
A few 'weak' links but should be enough depending on how serious Spurs take this game. One tit for another.

'We have not been close to 100%'
His side may be level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City but Klopp is not satisfied by what he has seen from his side so far...
Klopp: "Nothing what we've done so far has been close to 100%. There are a lot of things for us to do better." #LFC
'Nothing to say' on Gerrard
After Steven Gerrard appeared to hint his career with LA Galaxy was about to end in an Instagram post on Saturday, rumours began immediately that the former Liverpool captain would be heading back to Anfield.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp says there is nothing in the pipeline yet...
Jurgen Klopp on #Gerrard talk "There's nothing else to say. I thought I said that first we need to speak to each other." #LFC
Karius 'Liverpool's No 1'
Mignolet shouldn't get his hopes up though, as reported by BBC Sport's Juliette Ferrington...
Klopp: "In this moment we have a No 1 & that's @LorisKarius That's the situation. I cannot leave them in doubt." #LFC
Mignolet to start against Spurs
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is facing the media and has confirmed that goalkeeper Simon Mignolet will start against Spurs in the EFL Cup fourth-round tie at Anfield on Tuesday.
The Belgian last played against Chelsea on 16 September, since when he has lost his starting place to Loris Karius.
Klopp targeting his first Liverpool trophy
Liverpool were beaten by Manchester City in the final of last season's League Cup and the German is naturally hoping to go one better this season...
Klopp: "The #EFLCup is a very big tournament. We want to go to the final and we want to win it."#LFC
Klopp added: "I'm really looking forward to the game. It's another game at Anfield.
"It's still fantastic to play there. Against a strong opponent, it's the best thing you could wish."Last edited by Yozza; 24-10-16, 01:48 PM.What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

Tough one, big game so early on in the competition, shame we haven't got an easier tie.
Ideally I'd say we have a load of players in need of game time,
Mig
Moreno
Klavan
Lucas/sakho
Trent alexander
Can
Stewart
Grujic
Ings
Origi
Sturridge
I reckon that would be interesting to see but there is no way we will make that many changes
That said I'd defo like to see ings/origi/grujic getting minutes and I do feel the full backs could do with a rest as they have been pretty key so far this season and play every game so rotate them and get Moreno and Alexander Arnold in for themi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

bit weird to go full strength vs burton to now ring the changes for spurs 2 rounds later.
Im not arsed if we go out tbh, looking at the the semi final dates where we could be playing a city/arsenal and we have united/chelsea the following weekends in the league with no mane and pretty heavy few weeks.
all about the league this season

No way I'd want to go out. We can continue to use youth even in the final should we reach it.Originally posted by Liverpool View Postbit weird to go full strength vs burton to now ring the changes for spurs 2 rounds later.

LONG before Trent Alexander-Arnold was being name-checked by Jurgen Klopp as a potential Liverpool star of the future, the secret was already out.
On page 353 of Steven Gerrard’s autobiography ‘My Story,’ there is a paragraph on the home-grown youngster who has been making waves for quite some time behind the scenes at Anfield.
Gerrard came across Alexander-Arnold, then 16, when working on his Uefa coaching badges at Liverpool’s academy and his commitment to mentioning him in print served to reflect just how big a talent the master perceived the pupil to be.
“Trent Arnold has a terrific chance of making it as a top professional,” wrote Gerrard when putting his book together in early 2015.
“He’s quite leggy but he’s got a lovely frame and seems to have all the attributes you need.
“He has the right attitude and comes from West Derby, home to Melwood. So Trent is another Scouser and apparently, just as I tried to be John Barnes and Steve McMahon, he grew up pretending to be me while playing in the Merseyside parks.
“He can play as a number 6, a holding midfielder, but he’s versatile and I’ve seen him fill various positions. I know England are all over him.”
