We look much better on the opposition half though.
Our set piece defending is woeful tonight and we are lucky to be ahead frankly. In fairness Spurs look very well drilled and pressing high up the pitch causing us problems and stopping us from building through midfield. When we break the lines and get a run on their defence we look dangerous.

Hmmmm, Spurs working their little socks off. They should tire later but Liverpool need to be more proactive

Stewart and Klaven love a back pass or 15. Moreno just looks thick, hasn't a clue what he's doing half the time.

Hope we try and attack more as we should put these to bed. Game is passing the new lad in midfield. Get can on for Stewart.

                It's because he is thick.

I do think the game has changed now, it's played so quickly and so frantic that everyone especially these young lads are too overkeen to impress.

Moreno in his defence just tries to hard, he's not calm enough and this is his problem. He will never change but he does have some good attributes in that he's positive going forward and pacey.

I'd really like to see him given a chance on the wing.

He was OK. I just think he looks thick. Hair doesn't help him. Gave a couple of free kicks away which were careless, tried an Enrique arse shuffle which he got away with. Poor corner.

But I like his energy and as always better going forward. Did one nice cover tackle. I'm not picking him out for a slagging just when he has the ball, especially from a set piece he looks like he has no idea. We've had plenty of similar types over the years.

Enjoyed that half. Plenty to like against clearly a talented team.

I'm normally one of his biggest critics but I thought he was ok first half. Great tackle late on too.

I'll admit that I have a bias against them, but I've heard a lot about how they have a great squad this year. They still miss Kane and if this is their 2nd 11, then I don't see it.
