Not being greedy but it'd be nice to stretch it to a ten match unbeaten before we get to city.

In reality kloppster will decide depending on training during the week. One thing for sure is that we have a very strong bench no matter what team he puts out. To have Gini, Origi, Sturridge, Lucas and Ings (if selected) as options from the bench is ****in brilliant. I'm not sure we've had such strength in depth in the last 30 years.

The fact the klopp has achieved this without spending a while lot of cash (net spend wise) is incredible.
The depth of the squad seems unprecidented for us if we assume a first XI of:
Karius; Clyne, Lovren, Matip, Milner; Henderson, Can, Lallana; Mane, Firmino, Coutinho

We could put a second XI of:
Mignolet; Gomez, Klavan, Sakho, Moreno; Lucas, Wijnaldum, Grujic; Ings, Sturridge, Origi

There isn't a huge step down in quality in the attacking or midfield roles between those sides, the players in those sides may play different ways but they are good players. At times in recent years our strongest team has been weaker than that current second XI.

As well as that we have some promising looking kids coming through who we haven't even been mentioned yet.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

and a manager that I don't think any of us would swap for any other in world football.....

Klopps challenge next season will be to replace the players like Sturridge, Lucas who will obviously not be happy playing a bit part.....

The bit part role could be a problem with more than just those players - In truth Lucas has been a bit part player for the last couple of years - I think half of us had been expecting him to have moved on by now, but oddly given that he hasn't moved yet suggests that there is a possibility he might even stay longer/ Sturridge I don't see being here this time next season if he continues with his current role (I wouldn't be surprised if he left in January to be honest). But I imagine players like Origi would want more game time - maybe he will be the one to come in for Mane when he's at the Africa Cup of Nations.

I also think that some of the big clubs of Europe could be in for some of our front 3 so hanging on to them would be key.

Every match now I am wondering beforehand is this the game in which we hand out a massive thumping.

Am convinced we are going to give some team a proper mauling this season and not just through scoring four or five. Can see a seven or eight goal haul happening to some lot.

I know he has his eleven now, but wonder if he might mix it up a bit with 4-5 knocking on the door. Origi/Sturridge smashed his to pieces last season in the second half. Squad is looking good with everyone fit.

Completely agree. Someone is going to get it big style.

Ace. We know who to blame if the run comes to an end!

I dont see anyone wanting to leave in January... especially if we are in for a title shout. Realistically, who is going to be in for Sturridge? I think he will be happy as a squaddie, especially if we are in the champions league. He probably wont be first choice in any other top four side. He needs to show he can stay fit before anyone takes that risk.

Personally I dont think we are going to do a lot better for a second choice player anyway.

I thinks having someone a bit different to the first XI is a good thing
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

If a team like Soton were sniffing around the edges of the Top 4 they'd certainly be interested as an example. On the other hand a team dicing with relegation such as West Ham would also jump at him.
