Is David Moores a fan or a businessman??

He is most definately a fan, I have met him on several occasions and done work on his house, he is a very nice man, if a little disconnected from the real world, due to his wealth, even before he became chairman the cars lined up outside his house were numbered KOP 1, KOP 2. and KOP 5, we talked a lot about football (possibly because it was the only thing we had in common) but his knowledge and passion was clearly there to see.

Sadly his wealth is not great by the new standards set by a club using money stolen from the good people of Russia, and I think that he realises that his wealth can no longer compete in the new reality of football so is looking for someone with sufficient wealth to take us onto the next level.

I know if he had to leave the club he would be heartbroken

on all points except the car registrations which i dont doubt he has

I think hell only sell to somebody who he thinks has the best of intentions for lfc and who also provides much improved finance - beyond what he himself offers. I dont think such an offer has been made yet.

Mr Moores sounds like a really nice guy and a true fan, but will it all have to go tits up before he realises he should let go?

Sadly he has very little else to do, when I did work on his property he used to go to his Job in the family business (littlewoods) maybe one afternoon a week, sign some letters n stuff and come home.............. If he had to walk away from LFC........... He would have lierally nothing to do to do as the family business has been sold

but on the brightside, with his money he should be able to afford a season ticket for an exec box at the new stadium.

He will be leaving behind mediocrity where there were once greatness.

The sooner he gets out of the way the better.

That's all I have to say about Moores these days.

The truth is Moores is probably a bit of both. He loves the club but not at the expense of his personal fortune. Unfortunately his love for the club is blinding everyone. If the club is to get back to the pinnacle of English football then Moores needs to step aside, he should stay on in some presidential role but the boardroom control , finances and decisions need to be relinquished to an acute businessman who can drag the club back to where it belongs.

nah mate they are **** business people end of, the family business were passed down to them and one by one they ****ed up most of them.
