It's a bit of a dip, but we're still scoring goals and big Joel has still to be defeated in a red shirt.
Pump Boro on Weds and then rip Everton a new one next week.
We used to be all depressed like this after we lost. Now it's after home draws.
There is a long way to go and we are still within distance. I think we will know better about our aspirations come January.Modifying post.

You're not wrongOriginally posted by Fredo View PostMatip wasn't at fault for the second. I think he was unlucky. Ball bounced off the wrong side of him. Again, Karius should probably have done better but it's a tough call really. I've got issues with the first goal allowing West Ham back into the game.

Pretty frustrating again.
Poor defending once again cost us and we just lack a bit of penetration at times going forward, especially when things get a bit crowded around the box. Still s ridiculous save from hendersons shot kept them in it.
Thought wijnaldum and firminho where very poor, and we struggled because we had nothing available on the bench to come and change the game. Granted we have a few injuries but we just lack a little bit of extra quality.
With ings out and with Sturridge having issues we defo need to go and find an extra attacking/goal threat. I wouldn't be disappointed with a top class centre mid...and in ideal world a top keeper and another centre half
Anyway...that said, we might not quite have enough for a title challenge but we have still had a great start and coming up to Xmas we are still up there and a bit of luck on injuries we can still be fighting for iti own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

There was an unfortunate bounce in the build up, but Matip's reactions were very slow and he was not on his heels as he should've been. He won't be completely happy with his role I suspect.Originally posted by Fredo View PostMatip wasn't at fault for the second. I think he was unlucky. Ball bounced off the wrong side of him. Not sure Karius deserves the flak for the second, as even the football oracle that is Jamie Redknapp had to point out to Carra who seemed to be completely focussing on Karius after the first goal, about how he found himself in no man's land, so there some sympathy.
He's got to do better for the FK though.....there's no point getting across the distance well if you're going to wetfish the save."I will make the boys feel your support"

Frustrating game, for me similar to last week stopped playing when we went in front and let them back into the game, that is a mental flaw that needs to be overcome, we've dropped 5 points from winning positions in the last 2 games.
I think that Firmino has gone off the boil since Coutinho has been out and we have had to reshuffle the front 3.
Another goal that the keeper should have saved again. After having a pop at the pundits who had a go at him last week he needed to come out and perform today and he didn't do that. I'm a big believer that players should keep their mouths shut and should do their talking on the pitch. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
