We're not playing with the same intensity as we used, our pressing and chasing is not what it was a few weeks ago. Partly to do with having to playing with a proper striker rather than false nine. I can defo see Klopp buying an attacking player in January.

Show me a team in the top 4 who boasts a world class central midfielder. Maybe City with Yaya but he's got his flaws.

I think we're okay in that department. Our possession stats shows that they are controlling games more often than not. Wijnaldum is a good player and his running into the box is excellent. He just need more end product to his game. As for Henderson, I like him.

Klopp will surely add more quality in time, but for now I'm happy. I'd rather we ensure we have a top class goalkeeper and maybe another quality winger to deputise for Mane, but I think that Klopp may promote from within if he cannot find what he wants in January.

Kante at Chelsea is the only top top controlling midfielder in the Prem right now - Yaya Toure is a shadow of his old self.

Hopefully the links to the Ivorian Franck Kessie are true we need someone with a bit of power in the engine room.

It's easy to think Chelsea will romp home but everyone thought Man City were going to do that when they won straight games at the beginning of the season.

the disappointing thing is that we had a hard start and did so well and now we are in an 'easy' run we are losing the opportunity to put points between us and our rivals whilst they play each other. I am very happy where we are right now but our recent performances (5 points from last 4 games) has been annoying!

It us the old problem with our defence still cutting us - all goals are avoidable but we gave away the softest of the lot and two more today. We need more players - I don't give a **** about others not getting game time because we still need better in a number of areas.

Shearer just said on motd that karius has also been let down by the defense in front of him. Hard to argue with that.


We are capable of great attacking football. But we just don't seem to be able to control a game at the right times...the in game management from the players just isn't there. So we need to be the much better team to win games....

I think if sturridge had anything about him then he would retire from international football too. Another injury when away with England and coupled with Coutinho injury and we have **** all then on the bench. It's really annoying.

The defending as a team (not just the defence) isn't good enough, which will have an effect on the goalkeeper, but when the keeper isn't making saves he should that is down to him.
