the frequency has definitely reduced..... even under B-Rodge we were capable of some good stuff - but very rarely for 75 mins of a full game. And we were capable of a cluster**** performance in about 1 in 3 games. Under Klopp the frequency has definitely improved..... but as we saw at Bournemouth, we still have it in us.
The next big test will be if we manage to stay the pace with Chelsea until say March. All of a sudden then the pressure will be on and every game will be even bigger than it is now. I am not sure we have the experience to handle that. They say sometimes that you need to compete and lose a title before you go back the next year and win one. Plus you would expect one or two of our players to be out on their feet by then.
If we were to beat Southampton in the league cup semi and were to beat Chelsea in the league on 31st Jan, then I wouldn't mind seeing Klopp play our reserves / squadies in the FA Cup games. It would be a balls to go to the semi's of the FA Cup but miss out on the league by a point or two......

And then for him to walk into the boardroom and ask for 32.5m for Benteke - 3 years after starting his LFC career with no striker because Andy Carroll didn't fit with his philosophy - 18 months later i still cant get my head around it.

I think it was only ever a stay of execution. FSG cleared out Rodgers' backroom staff and their replacements always felt like stop gaps (Sean O'Driscoll??). Rodgers was already gone, FSG just kept him long enough to fill in for Klopp's sabbatical (remember his agent's love letter to Liverpool when Klopp started his holiday?).Originally posted by frank the tank View Posthow the **** Brendy got to keep his job after both the semi final and the Stoke away cluster**** (great send off for Gerrard that) I will never know.....

Yeah they let Brendan spend all that money on Benteke, but I think they did that in confidence that it could be recouped if the new manager didn't want him. Which it was..
