It's not being precious. It's a red even day of the week. Derby or not. The rules don't change for these games.

Nah. I think that football has gone a bit soft but the rules are in place. It was a horrible challenge and Henderson is lucky his foot was off the groundOriginally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI do think a lot of fans are over precious these days. It's a derby, local lad goes in and is a bit late and you all scream red. **** that. Henderson was fine. It hurt and could have caused damage. That's football. It's a ****ing derby, you'd have twenty of those a game a few years back.
Straight red if the officials see itI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Not the easiest match to sit through but winning away at Goodison in stoppage time is an awesome feeling, probably the best way to win a game, the players will be buzzing and the bitters will be gutted
Brings back memories of Gary Mac.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Well Henderson has gone up in my view of him, by explaining the tackle away and moving on. It was late, not dirty. His words 'it's a derby'.
Thought lovren did well. Milner struggled a bit and we do need a proper left footer in there next season.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

He wasn't trying to end a career you soft *******.Originally posted by Buzzo View Post
If that's not a red I don't know what is.
If Hendersons foot doesn't slip from under him during the 'tackle' his leg is broken for sure. The point of red cards is to surely stop players playing like dirty cunts trying to end careers.
That's a definite red card.
Gerrard has done plenty of similar ones in the past. It's great.
Anyway I am fed up defending an everton player when we've just won a derby.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde
