Carra and others obsession with Joe Hart is utterly bizarre, it's like they've been in a coma for the last 2 years or something.

Seems to have become Hart's publicist ever since the Carragher/Neville criticism of Karius.
Feels like he brings up the "if it were up to me I would bring Hart to Liverpool in January" thing during all our live games.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Good result, and a fine turnabout from what appeared a stodgy start. Poor defensive errors from a few in both the buildup and final ball in for Walters goal. Would like my keeper to be making a better fist of them type of efforts, but you're asking for trouble allowing those sort of chances to come about. But we copped onto ourselves, and fought to impose our own game after 25mins or so.
Good performances all round, especially from Firmino, Lallana, and Henderson and Milner in the second half really upped their game.
Just what we needed going into the City game."I will make the boys feel your support"

Yep. Wouldn't mind but he's basically been a Mignolet clone for the last 2 years!Originally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostSeems to have become Hart's publicist ever since the Carragher/Neville criticism of Karius.

It makes zero sense in any way. Beaten easily at his near post, iffy on crosses, cant pass and shots that should be saved going in. He's declined massively in every area. It would be an absolute waste of time.

I know it's not popular to stick up for Mignolet, but Walters should not have been able to come from behind Lovren to meet the cross. Mig was briefly unsighted and rightly expected Lovren to get to the ball first.
Objectively speaking, Mig has been our best keeper this season. He's done well. (we still need better
)
Another MASSIVE game

What was that in response to? I missed the last 10 minsOriginally posted by Cormack74 View PostOnly just caught up with the post match after having a bit of grub: loved Hendo's "you ask me the same question every week" response.
Geoff Shreeves must have a hide like a Rhino's.
Love this team
Also love the way we lull teams into a false sense of security by giving them an easy start and then thrashing them for daring to score against us
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

He was being asked if it was important to win, no wonder he looked bored.
Ah, I couldn't work it out - he sounded like Shreeves but the only bit of him which was visible didn't look like Shreeves.

It was a difficult game where Stoke controlled the game for the first 20 minutes and should have been 2-0 up but Mignolet was decisive and kept us in the game. Stoke couldn't keep up the same intensity and we stepped up a gear and the rest was made easier due to Stoke's appalling defending.
We need to play better against City.
Chelsea look the stronger team at the moment as they don't seem to have many visible weaknesses. They could have a very handsome lead at the start of the year. Are we winning?

We will, but we don't really have owt to fear from them. We have a good record head to head and are above them in the league on merit.Originally posted by Fredo View PostIt was a difficult game where Stoke controlled the game for the first 20 minutes and should have been 2-0 up but Mignolet was decisive and kept us in the game. We don't have anything to fear but we will need to control the game better than what we did early in the game today. We will cause them problems in attack but I'm more concerned for our midfield dealing with the likes of Silva, Sterling and De Bruyne. They will cause us problems. Are we winning?

We've been absolutely dreadful in big games this season, we could get a beating. City own us at Anfield as well.Originally posted by Fredo View PostWe don't have anything to fear but we will need to control the game better than what we did early in the game today.
