Southampton v Liverpool 19:45 Wed 11th Jan 2017 EFL Cup
I think Klopp will go in strong tonight. Which gives a chance to see how we cope without Mane. If the fast free flowing football is evident then Utd are fecked on Sunday.

He has to play a strong team.
It’s a decent match for us a good audition before the big one on Sunday. Wonder if he'll experiment with Origi and Sturridge, even if one of them play wide? Didn't do too bad the last time the two of them played against these.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
Origi has went off the boil in the last few games sadly but Origi seems to do well against Southampton IIRC.
Was saying that this morning, that he could do with a couple of goals to get going again. Not sure if being dropped for Sturridge knocked his confidence a bit, as he'd only went 2 games before that without scoring, but he's definitely struggled a bit in recent games and too often is just putting his head down and charging into defenders.

Origi worked really well with Mane. Like you say he's returning to his head down, run at player at all costs, comfort zone which is not helping us. I don't mind seeing Origi and Studge together, specially tonight, but not sure if these two can make this partnership more permanent.
i think he is a young player and will have peaks and dips in his form over the next couple of years. Klopp is the right manager to make him realise his potential if he works hard enough at it.
I would like to see Origi and Sturridge and Firmino all play in a front 3 against Southampton. And it would be good to see them all rotate positions too.
