Would happily take a point right now. Not feeling good about it. If Mane, Matip, Coutinho and clyne were all starting then I'd fancy it.

Sturridge and Coutinho - you'd like to think that they can come on and make a difference.....But apart from Fellaini, I'd have any of their subs in our starting line up

Martial against TAA seems like a mismatch to me.

They'll still be behind us no matter what.

Matip should just retire from international football. Simple.

Holman and Davies just went up against City and looked good, nothing too concerning about TAA starting today for me, he's far superior to Connor Rand all.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaking to Sky Sports: "We all have – a few of us probably have a few more – 14 muscles between the ribs and one of these hurts a lot. He (Clyne) got a knock at Southampton.

"Clynie can nearly cope with everything so we all thought it will work out but yesterday in training he twisted it a little bit. We had to wait overnight and he said this morning ‘no chance’.

                  “It’s good, exciting (for Alexander-Arnold).

“I read the programme notes and it is the first time that there was nothing about welcome to Liverpool or something like this. That’s the first thing.

"Then I wanted a coffee and in the can was only tea. It’s started already, yeah? It’s all OK. It’s football and we are ready for it.

"We know exactly what we have to do and that’s being brave and playing football, which is more than a lot of other teams were doing in the last few matches against them.”
                  Oh I don't know.

Just got in and seen the lineup. Bloody hell. Just been outside botching up a leaky garage roof with expanding foam, Jesus I got the stuff everywhere. Had a mare hope it's not an omen for the game.

Why, because of experience or something else? They both are young players and in terms of quickness, Arnold is no slouch.
                      Are we winning?

Liverpool withdrew Joel Matip from their squad to face Manchester United on Sunday because they are unsure about his international clearance.

Matip, 25, was named in Cameroon's preliminary squad for this month's Africa Cup of Nations, but the defender said he did not want to play.

“That’s difficult to explain. In our understanding, Joel is officially retired from international football," Reds boss Jurgen Klopp told Sky Sports.

“The club did everything we had to do to make this clear but up until now we couldn’t get the response we need to be 100% sure he can play.

“It’s pretty difficult and really frustrating.

“He has been in training four or five days. He would have been in the squad 100%, maybe on the pitch today so I don’t think it’s fair but we cannot do more than waiting on the decision.

“We need to get an answer as quick as possible.”
                        Oh I don't know.
