Fazenda??? On the exchange flags square that the town hall is on?? Or Viva Brazil on Castle Street? Viva is good - Fazenda is another level though.

On the game......i am hoping that this will be the game where we lay down another marker and start a run of victories that will propel us big time into the title race. Spank this Swansea team and it should set the team up for the Southampton game.

Next 3 or 4 weeks are crucial. It would be great to beat both Chelsea and Spurs at home while being in a final and the 5th round of the FA Cup. But it would be a pain in the arse if we dropped points at home to Swansea.....

Would be a big boost to see Matip, Henderson, Coutinho all start the game. All of a sudden then, our bench looks very strong again....

    For me:

    -------------------------MIGNOLET-------------------------

    CLYNE-------MATIP------------------LOVREN-------MILNER

    ---------CAN-----------HENDERSON------WJINALDUM-----

    LALLANA---------------FIRMINO-----------------COUTINHO

With a bench of Karius, Klavan, Moreno, Sturridge, Origi, Lucas, Woodburn

For food in the afternoon / evening, to be honest, most of the best gastropubs in Liverpool will be outside the city centre...

My advice? Get back into town after the game and go for a Paddy 7 course meal - 6 pints of Guinness and a potato!! If you want a home from home, then there is a pub on Tithebarn Street called Shenanigans that is good.

If you would like a bit of a pub-crawl, then start at the Ship and Mitre on Dale Street for a real ale. Across the road there is a place called the Dead Crafty Beer Company that is good. You could either continue up Dale Street and hit Lady of Mann but my advice would be to take a detour to Tithebarn street and hit Shenanigans for the Man City v Spurs game at half 5.

For food, then Fazenda is great rodizio for steak. Good stuff and would be nearby. Would strongly advise to book it in advance though. If that doesn't suit, then CAU is a good Argentinian restaurant on Castle Street is great steak as well.

Back to your hotel then for a treble-S before heading back out. I would then suggest that you get to Hope Street / the top of Hardman Street and work your way down from there (it's all downhill!). Fredericks is a good spot and the Philharmonic Dining Rooms is worth a pint in if you haven't been before. Then work your way down Hardman St. The Old Blind School is okay - there might be some visuals there. Across the road Fly in the Loaf is good.

By then you are likely to be full of booze but still want to stay out and enjoy a drink with your brother. Get to the bottom of Hardman Street and go to Berry & Rye. This is just a black door on Berry Street but is a good speakeasy style place that do great whiskey cocktails. And it stays open late.

If you were mad for road then get to Seel Street - which is off Berry Street - and just follow the smell of clunge..... ha ha

For hangover cure the next day, then a burger in Almost Famous wont let you down!!
          Cheers Frank

            ****ing hell Frank!
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Since Origi played the full game, effectively two days before this fixture, you're right in thinking we might start Can.

Potential banana skin this one. Must be focused.

Some good advice from Frank there - Castle Street is a decent area to go to just now for food and drink - Cau, BEM Brazil, like he says as well as the Castle Street Townhouse. Its all very laid back round there, but a bit more expensive than the more avoidable areas of the City Centre.

I'm going the opposite way - I'm over in Dublin tomorrow night for the weekend!

We have to come flying out of the blocks, three points and a statement is what we need, put some pressure on the rest for a change. Don't know why but I'm oddly pumped up right now
