Our defence is not a joke. It's collectively that we make mistakes time and again. A lot is due to composure I think. We're used to hustle and bustle and don't see the idea of keeping our patience at times. For their first goal there was no need to panic and clear that for a corner and the third was also avoidable. Are we winning?

I used the bus - good tip, thanksOriginally posted by poorscousertommy View PostIf you're staying in town there is a match bus and match taxi service that will get you the game for £2 a head. Right next to St Georges Hall.
Thanks FrankOriginally posted by frank the tank View PostAcross the road there is a place called the Dead Crafty Beer Company that is good. My advice would be to take a detour to Tithebarn street and hit Shenanigans for the Man City v Spurs game at half 5.
CAU is a good Argentinian restaurant on Castle Street is great steak as well.
I would then suggest that you get to Hope Street / the top of Hardman Street and work your way down from there (it's all downhill!). Fredericks is a good spot and the Philharmonic Dining Rooms is worth a pint in if you haven't been before. Then work your way down Hardman St. The Old Blind School is okay - there might be some visuals there. Across the road Fly in the Loaf is good.
Then a burger in Almost Famous wont let you down!!
So went to the game, walked back to town. Got the 3 Ss in early and went to Shenanigans - nice bar and watched the first half of the City game but it wasn't showing the rugby (Munster) so we went to some dive Irish bar to watch that. Went to CAU for dinner, decent food there all right
I had a couple of quiet beers in Dead Crafty Beer Company where we arranged to meet a bunch of others over from the same town and then we hit Hope Street and worked our way down the hill as you said
. There were a bunch of younger guys in the group at this stage and a number of them had never been to Liverpool but they wanted to go to the "honeypot(?)", I had one drink there and called it quits. I had the burger the next day and it certainly hit the spot.
As someone who doesn't drink that often anymore I am still feeling a bit rough today! Playing football this evening so will run most of the badness out of me or puke my guts up
