His persistence with Can is doing my head in.
      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Nah, was never a pen. He should have been booked though, so the ref wrongly gave us the corner they scored from.

We got what we deserved. Shouldn't complain too much. Swansea did a Southampton who did a Swansea on us. I said at the start I don't give a **** about this game or Wolves. Chelsea game is everything.

Mane can't come back quick enough.

Signings needed. Don't care if the three players on Klopp's shortlist are unavailable. Something needs to be done. The are more than 3 players in world football that would improve us. If you can't get your first choice you find someone else.

Well played Southampton. They beat us in all areas of the pitch and knew exactly what they were doing. That's a well drilled team going about their business.

Our midfield is much worse than the sum of its parts at the moment. It can neither attack nor defend properly and the transition between attack and defence is non-existent. That's why we're so slow to get the ball to the forwards and other teams waltz right through us like a knife through butter. It starves the attack and puts the defence in full panic mode. I have a horrible feeling that even if we buy someone we'll have the same problem - whatever they are being drilled to do isn't working and it's Klopp's job to sort that out.

I totally agree Kenneth. We are easy to nullify due to this fixed tactical thinking.

Surprisingly, he had one of his better games tonight.
                  Are we winning?

And why wouldn't you play the same way against us!? It's clearly working a treat.

Hopefully it'll change as soon as Mane steps off the plane.

there is a blue print to play against us, sitbdeeo5, pack the middle, push us out wide, defend crosses with ease and counter. Same **** all the time. The system has to be tweaked.

The only win so far this year a replay against Plymouth. One draw and two defeats at home. Absolute muck of a month.

We all know there are problems with our defence, but the real reason we're ****ed is that those we've counted on to bag goals have stopped scoring and we've had nobody of comparable quality to step up in their place. Scored less than a goal per game, despite being ceded **** loads of possession and territory. Sure I'd love a GK, CB and DM, but I'd much prefer another ball carrying player who offers serious goal threat.

Put it in perspective.........a good Premiership team comes here well drilled with a solid, well-executed game plan. They packed the centre of their defence giving us hardly any room in and around their penalty area. The only width we had was provided by our fullbacks. We could have played all week and not scored because we had nobody who could create(Coutinho isn't back to his best yet and Lallana and Firminio look a bit jaded). Then they scored with a breakaway goal (we've done that loads of times over the years!)

Yes, a big disappointment but as Stevie once said, "We go again" Beat Wolves and Chelski and we're back on track.......nearly!

He really should have before now IMO.
