Do we have everyone fit? Matip and Coutinho are absolutely vital for this, both are just a bit short on game time since coming back from injury. Lovren is bad enough but having Klavan there is panic central. Such a pity about Mane being away, his absence has shown how important he is to our side & what we need to be looking at in the summer transfer window.

This is a huge game, Arsenal & United both a home to poor sides and will be looking to take advantage of this fixture.

Win this, and Klopp can use it as a platform to really push on. It can be a case of "right boys, 15 games left - every ****in one of them is a cup final".

Personally I'm not gutted about the Southampton or Wolves results. The Sunderland draw and Swansea loss are still doing my head in. As is the Bournemouth away game.

But we have a wonderful opportunity to put this right tomorrow night. Lets show the world that we are not has-beens, that we won't just leave our season piss away. Let's send out a message that every time we take a hit, then we will come back.

FWIW....pretty confident about tonight.

Can see us scoring at least a couple. Can always depend on a match like this triggering a response.
In many ways, a lot more depends on this now in comparison to how we were estimating this showdown would be a couple months back. Need to stop this rot we've found ourselves in.

always a bigger percentage of local [Liverpool, merseyside and uk] fans for midweek games than there is for weekend games.
at the weekend the hotels always have plenty of irish and fans from other places that have flown in and need to get rooms but not so much for midweek games.

hopefully the ground will be rocking and the team is lifted
lets hope Klopp has driven into them the importance of putting in a big effort to ensure now we are out of the cups we do what we can to close the gap on these ****s.
