Just looked at the remaining fixtures and I know this sounds stupid but it seems United have piss easy games every ****ing week ffs

I thought we'd have needed a defensive midfielder at the start of the season but seeing how Henderson has grown into the role has me not convinced at all now. The hallmark of this team is to press high, which allows us to have a quick transition when we don't have the ball. When in full flow it doesn't matter if teams defend deep or not, we'll get at their throats and push them further and further until submission. Spurs could have easily been four or five down after 30 minutes yesterday. And we need to have passages of play when we're more patient.

I think if we are above them end of march we will be ok. Brutal end of the season for them.

We have beaten or drawn against all the top teams without a DM, And we shouldnt need one against the ****e we cant beat. Pace, Pace and more pace for next season please.

Exactly I read the same this morning. But April May is tough for then and they are poor against the bigger teams.

In any case if we continue to win it won't matter who they are playing or what results they have. Big if though.

As good as we were yesterday, Spurs played like total naive idiots. Chelsea and Utd didn't fall for it and got a point. In an open game we are the boss of everyone, especially with Mane's pace back in.

Yeah brilliant yesterday, made the whole side tick, he moves the ball quickly, he cut out space, pressed, won challenges and fed the ball quickly..played big parts in both goals

That's what I said.

If a team sits back and puts everyone behind the ball, we simply can't play like we did yesterday. We have to find another way.

Watch the speed of play from us this is the biggest factor as to why our results have been as they are we've not played to the same pace or intensity of earlier in the season apart from yesterday, that coupled with lacking genuine pace in the side (more needed in the Summer) and IMO too many players that don't have quite the right mentality has caused our issues. If we'd come at teams like Hull as we did vs Spurs we'd have blown them away, we didn't and got what we deserved.

Been saying this for weeks

Speed and tempo of our play is massive

If we start quick we generally open teams up, if we start slow we look laborious and are not effective

Better to start quick and then rest once you are winning than starting slowly which we seem to struggle to get out of that groove until it is too late
