Not sure Mane is the difference but he certainly is very important. We should have won a lot of these games even without Mane, so for me consistency is the issue for us. We were very professional second half and did the sensible thing. Close the game.

6 pointer and the only gripe was we didn't humiliate them by half time. We absolutely needed that which is a bit of a silly thing to say but i don't think our confidence could have taken another defeat. It is also super tight at the top so hopefully we get our swagger back.

We looked massively better with a week's break between games. This is something Klopp will have to fathom out

Huge result, I'm much more confident going into these type of games though, the space offered in behind and the fact we're playing a game of football rather that attack vs defence suits us.

Mane was obviously MoTM
Wjinaldum just adds a better balance and intelligence to the midfield
Mignolet made a huge save in the first half

On to the next one, hopefully Coutinho can get back in the swing of things too.

I think Mane definitely is the difference. The sheer speed got in his several one on ones, and also allowed him to close down and force the mistake for the second. No other attacking player gives us that to that degree.

Pissed it, schooled them. Lucas was great. They did play right in to our hands though which was highly amusing. Mane is god.

Mane really shows how much we've missed that bit of pace. Our front 6 is good (maybe minus that one goal-getter striker)

A proper left back, another CB and a more defensive minded midfielder and I reckon we should balance out, and hopefully stop conceding.
