What is it about the bellends in football who are incapable of speaking like the rest of the human race?
6 or 7 years ago I watched Portsmouth at home to Coventry in the FA Cup. Coleman still had family in Epsom Surrey (from his Fulham days) so rather than go back to the Midlands, he took the train from Portsmouth to Surrey and we sat a chatted for an hour on the journey back and he is, in my book, a really nice bloke and he talked a lot of sense!

Proper ****ty of Coleman to make that comment.

Obviously feels bigging himself up is the top priority.

Reminiscent of Pardew getting the horn for himself when Palace spawned a win against us

Aye. That served with a twist of Allardyce saying he's Real Madrid level.

He must be really high on confidence right now, anyone reckon he makes the bench on Sat?

The comment may have been unwarranted but he made the right call in playing Woodburn, that may have got Wales to Russia!

I'd still consider loaning him out from Jan for the rest of the season if he's ready. Some Championship football for a few months would get him ready for the first team squad next season.

Still easy to forget how young he is. Might all be a bit much too soon.
Said it before but I disagree with sending top youth players away on loan. Players like Ojo who might spend his career at Portsmouth yes, players who could become first team star players, no. He'll learn plenty being around the first team and I reckon he'll breakthrough this season. From what I saw of him in preseason he'll be an asset to us this season.

the occasional match for the 23's when necessary too.

If he decided to mention klopp himself then definitely. I bet he was asked a direct question about Jurgen's comments though, and the story has been built out of that. Can't imagine Coleman being that much of a ****.
