I'm sure it was him and Phil Thompson. Was a long long time ago. I was only about 14. Julian Dicks was playing.

A true Legend and 1 of greats of the club,I said earlier it would be nice to name the new training ground after him.

11 league titles won in his time at LFC and LFC's total league titles are 18. His contribution at the club is a significant as Shanks, bill, Joe and Kenny.

To be honest I don't think ever wanted it permanently.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

In a time when the word is ludicrously over used, we have just lost a true legend. RIP Ronnie, you will be missed.

I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

Few would have him top a list of LFC greats but it's very hard arguing that anyone else has ever had such longstanding dedication to serving the club. Just lived and breathed LFC as a player, as a bootroom fixture, a coach and a caretaker manager. Even after he 'retired' he found ways to contribute. Forever part of the fabric of the club. RIP

Always thought it was odd, he (and Fagan) never got official recognition at Anfield for his work. Hopefully something will be put in place.

                            Mr Liverpool.
