despise everything about the ****ers the majority of them are horrible *******s and dread the day that they actually win one but a back four containing jagielka williams and baines can surely be got at with pace

Agreed, plus with Origi and Can we may even sneak a open-play headed goal in there. Just need to keep Lukaku away from the ball, that's where Matip's clever footballing brain should help.

Reckon can will be under orders to snuff out lukaku whenever he is near the ball.
I bet can takes one for the team.and brings lukaku down to prevent him getting through.

Sturridge back in Liverpool training ahead of Merseyside derby - in pictures

Sturridge was initially sent home from the team's mid-season break in La Manga with a virus, before contracting a more serious complaint back on Merseyside

            BY KRISTIAN WALSH
            15:33, 30 MAR 2017 UPDATED 15:41, 30 MAR 2017

Daniel Sturridge has handed a Liverpool a possible boost after taking part in training on Thursday afternoon.

The striker has not featured for the Reds since the 2-0 defeat at Hull in early February, with his final start coming in the League Cup exit at home to Southampton nine weeks ago.

But the 27-year-old was at Melwood training outside with a ball at his feet for the first time for five weeks after picking up a hip injury.

Sturridge was initially sent home from the team's mid-season break in La Manga with a virus, before contracting a more serious complaint back on Merseyside.

But after returning from a month-long hiatus to make a telling impact in the Goodison derby, hopes have been raised he could do similar again after his appearance at Melwood.

Jordan Henderson is also battling to be fit for the derby, but was not pictured taking part in the session.

Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino were also snapped after their exploits on international duty with Brazil.

                Henderson is out still.

                ---------Mignolet---------
                Clyne-Matip-Lovren-Milner
                Can---Wijanldum-Coutinho
                --Mane---Firmino---Origi--

Either that, or we'll see a pleasant surprise like Grujic or Woodburn.

                Or Lucas in midfield...

Looks like Holgate to start for Coleman and Barry to come in for Schneiderlin? That are under strength too for this one, so it should be a really interesting game. Both teams are very top heavy.

Funes Mori out for the season too, I think he might throw in 3 at the back to try to confuse us, worked ok for them earlier in the season for a few games but it is exploitable.

Schneiderlin will be a big miss, He is apparently playing very well....according to the bluenoses i know.

Schneiderlin and Coleman are 2 huge losses to their starting 11, Mori is dire anyways so no big loss for them. I think Mane vs any of their backline is a complete mismatch.

I'd go 2 up front tomorrow, Woodburn and Firmino with Origi on the left wing and Mane on the right. Can in the middle with Couts and Hendo if he's back, if not Lucas.
