WBA (a) Sunday - build up & match thread

Talk of Lallana & Hendo possibly being available for this. Hendo's been out for a while & I don't see the need to rush him back. Lallana back in the middle with Can & Wiji & Couts & Bobby up top with Origi looks logical if we're going with a back 4 like usual.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Where is this talk of them being back ? Seems a stretch seeing as they've been in the US seeing a specialist.

Rich - both are back in Liverpool though not in full training yet, expected to train this week, availability will of course be judged on performance in training.

I think we look capable with Can, Wijnaldum and Lucas. Against West Bromley, they make sense.

Would be a risk to put them both back in midfield for this game. 2 or your 3 midfielders returning from injury. Against an agricultural Toe-Knee Pulis team, that is a risk. Might see them both on the bench I think.

WBA will change their game for us and probably raise their game for us as well. A lot will depend on how we defend their set pieces and hopefully we will have a strong ref for a change.

I would like to see Lucas back in the team. I think Matip and Lovren played great v Everton with Lucas sitting in front and helping with the second balls. WBA will play a similar way to what Everton did at Anfield - they will lump it up to Rondon and hope the likes of Chadli can get in on the second balls.

Although Mane is a big loss, hopefully Sturridge can be available for the rest of the season as an option. Hopefully the bench looks a bit stronger from this weekend onwards as well...

            --------------------------------- MIGNOLET --------------------------------

            CLYNE ----------- MATIP --------------------- LOVREN ---------- MILNER

            ----------------------------------- LUCAS ----------------------------------

            ------------- WIJNALDUM ----------------------- CAN --------------------

            FIRMINO ------------------------ ORIGI ---------------------- COUTINHO

Subs: KARIUS, KLAVAN, MORENO, HENDERSON, LALLANA, STURRIDGE, WOODBURN

Looks decent enough, with Origi on the right and Bobby up top. We have week to prepare for them, I'm cautiously optimistic about our chances now.
              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Let's hope we can get that back 4 out, I don't want to see Klavan starting he's a 4th choice CB and hopefully next season if he's still here that will be his role.

Very workmanlike midfield there, another area we could look to add to this Summers.

These are **** and on the beach, should get this done on desire alone! Lets maul these wannabe Brummie cunts!! Or just win by a goal, either is fine.

Be nice if Olsson gets done for his elbows and leg break attempts if he plays but it's open season on our players so I'd be surprised! That Manc cunt Fletcher will be out to injure people too.

                    As opposed to Bromley South?

another tough away game, these guys will look to rough us up and target us from set pieces. Need the Defence to be strong and for Matip and Lovren to deal with the high balls.

hasn't he left them now? am sure he was let go at the start of the last international break to play in the Swedish league.

Yep, you're right!! That's a nice bonus, not that he's any good but we dont need any more injuries right now.

Yeah Olsson doesn't play for them now thankfully. Seems like a decent guy off the pitch but he was a nasty ****er on it.
