Sat down in my seat 15 minutes before kick off and the big chap next to me was an ex pat who had traveled over from Canada. Told me he has seen us 5 times while visiting home since he moved to Canada and each time we lost. Should have had the stewards kick him out.

Nah the crowd was okay yesterday man. YNWA at the start was great and the KOP did try a number of times to get things going. The team need to give the crowd something to cheer about too.

I was at the game yesterday, and what really annoyed me was that Palace didn't even need to play well to beat us. They were obviously well organised but it's not like Zaha, Benteke or Townsend had a worldie of a game and caused us ****e. Put it this way, I haven't read all of this thread but I would be surprised if people were on here saying "**** me, sign Zaha"

Also, what was the craic with Sturridge? Had to rush to the game and had no battery on my phone but is he injured for a while again or what?

        Other thoughts of the game:

        1. Sakho is a knob. I watched him do this stupid handshake thing with Benteke after the first goal and I thought "what is that prick even doing on their bench in his tracksuit??" You wonder was that on Fat Sam advice or his agent - just to piss Klopp off even more so that he will get his commission from the transfer in the summer. At the end of the game, Sakho did something equally stupid with about 6 or 7 of the palace players as they came off the pitch. When Klopp walked past him, they shook hands but didn't even make eye contact. So that ship has definitely sailed.

        2. Our bench was rubbish. But you know what, I think i would have thrown on Brewster instead of either Grujic or Moreno. I know we are missing Lallana, Henderson, Ings, Sturridge and Klavan - but our squad is pretty crap beyond the first 11. If Klopp does get top 4 with this lot, then that is a good achievement - considering the squads of united and arsenal.

        3. I think Origi could do with a loan move to another premier league club next season. I know I am judging him on one game but he seemed to be all fart and no poo.

        4. You know after 5 minutes of any game if Lovren is going to have a good game or not. There is no in-between. In the derby, after 5 mins i knew he was going to be great. Yesterday, you just sensed that he wouldn't be. Considering that Matip is made of the same glass that Agger was made of, then I kind of agree with the people on here saying that we should buy 2 new center backs. Although to be honest I would probably prefer a new DM as well instead of a goalie (unless we could have both). A Matic or Kante in this team would make more of a difference than a De Gea or a Courtois (in my opinion). I actually wouldn't be sad to see us play with 3 center backs going forward. It might actually mean that Joe Gomez might get a few games, and if we were to buy the Ox, then he could play wing back too.

        5. Why didn't we shoot from distance at all??? **** sake.

        5.

If we could let in 10 less goals, that's possibly 20 extra points. We would be top of the league.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

van Dijk would be high on my list too as he is quality and can play in the RCB or LCB positions. My one reservation is that he could cost as much as Laporte would.

If we wanted to gamble a bit on young centre backs who are already first teamers at their clubs but who look that may have something special about them then Jonathan Tah, and Niklas Stark (who plays just as well as a DM as he does as a CB) come to mind.

Keane at Burnley might be worth a look if we wanted to buy with nationality in mind
