i know it is mate it's just annoying that he came out with that as an excuse when part of the reason was his team selection and timing of his subs it was obvious after 20 minutes that it wasn't working so should have been rectified at half time it was crying out for lallana and studge to come on everybody in the ground could see that and were letting the manager know but he still waited until late on to make the change

That's our setup, so narrow. We literally rely on Mane as our only other width apart from Milner & Clyne... it's crazy when you think about it.
Mlner and Clyne do bomb up and down the wings though. They do provide outlets, and to be fair to them their abilities to link up with the attacking players is also very much dependent on speed of movement and speed of passing from our midfielders and attackers.
It is all well and good looking for width from the full backs, but when our speed of play and movement in the centre and up front is slow and predictable, it is hard to see how much better our full backs can do with the options around them.
Watch how often Clyne bombs down the right wing into space, and then by the time someone gets the ball, takes a couple of touches, looks around and finally puts it out to Clyne he has a defender on him and end up playing it sideways.
Same often happens on our left, and it seems to have gotten far worse since January.
Compare that to when Mane was in the team. Clyne would bomb on, and Mane would be racing away ahead making himself ready for a quick one two or ready to receive the ball on the inside having run into space.
We, other than Mane, have a horrible lack of pace in our team, coupled with attackers who, when not on top form, offer very little by way of being the target for crosses into the box and who are often guilty of slowing down the play in the final third.
We so badly need players in the centre and up front that offer the ability to inject pace into our play at will, and who can break quickly on more than one front.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness

our fullbacks arent suited to what Klopp wants, Clyne hasnt got enough quality going forward, Milner too slow and has to cut in. I'm suprised Moreno hasnt more of a go at least his pace is a threat. Coutinho tucks centrally from the left doesnt always.
This seasons system is sound for the top 6, I think we need 3/4 players and a set up for the lesser sides. My worry is Klopp doesnt agree.

IIRC correctly, you made that same prediction for this year. I'm pretty certain you will be wrong again.Originally posted by Phoenix07 View PostI wouldn't expect Milner, Wijnaldum, or Firmino to be first XI players next season, but at least it'd give us excellent strength in depth.
Wijnaldum's form of late has been a bit worrying, but having made him of of his forst major signings, I'll be very surprised if he too doesn't play the majority of games he's fit for.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I would bet on all three to be first teamers to be honest. Milner's place is most at risk probably.Originally posted by RedReet View PostIIRC correctly, you made that same prediction for this year. I'm pretty certain you will be wrong again.

Firmino is absolutely nailed on to still be a starter, Klopp clearly loves him and barely ever subs him off.
