We definitely are in danger of becoming the new spurs. Bottled the title under dodgers being in front and same could be said if we **** up today. No excuses, no midfield or Carroll from them time for the team to step up when needed

People go on about the heroics of the Dortmund game last season but for me it means nothing as this team failed yet again at the final hurdle. Just like in 2013 when we lost the title and didn't turn up for the league cup final last year.

With the mancs looking like winning the EL they will be back in the CL and be even stronger next year so this year really is the time to make sure we get back in and build in the summer otherwise I can just see the same cycle being repeated next year.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Woke up quite confident about today's game and still feel the same way now.

Think we might win well today, and give the teams chasing us a bit of a sickener.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Does every match we don't win have to be "bottled"? We win some and lose some, all the other games we were apparently going to "bottle"like Wba, Watford etc don't seem to count once we've won them!

And not one to stick up for Spurs but the idea they choked this years title race is comical, they were barely ever in it and won a zillion in a row but as soon as they drop points in one game it's arghhhh bottlers!!! Led by that silly bint on sky. Weird.

For me bottling it is more about the performance than the result - the level of desire and fight in the team in the game. If you give it your all are putting the opposition under constant pressure and just can't score and lose/draw, I think few people could say you bottled it, if you meekly surrender and go down without much of a fight then you've bottled it.

While I wouldn't say the games we've tripped up in recently we have meekly surrendered but I wouldn't really say we have shown that much fight or desire either, so for me you could make the case for us bottling it, particularly if that type of performance/result combination isn't a one off. Either way it ertainly looks like the pressure is getting to the players.

The pressure to deliver is as big as it's been for some time and it'll weigh heavily on the lads. Fwiw, I still think it's fatigue that is more of a factor than will to win. We're off the pace collectively and today will be really difficult if WH decide to sit and soak

So no Firmino. Does that mean Studge and Origi both start?

Will be off to watch the game later but I can't say that I'm looking forward to it. Mainly 'cause we've been muck without Mane for so many times I'm not expecting a good time.

Firmino does contribute, especially defensively even when not at his best. So it's a blow and we will have to adapt.
                        Are we winning?

Aye....great lad for winning the ball back high up the pitch (at the very least when he plays well), so bit of a miss, but we should still have enough in reserve to do what needs to be done.
