The way the market it now, each club is better off just focussing on what they're trying to achieve and not comparing with other clubs deals. That may sound like how it should have always been but we all sit here laughing at or in envy of other clubs dealings. Sigurdsson, although not a £40m player to us could have a good season with Everton and help them crack the top 6 which they would be made up with. On the other hand if a player fails to deliver in this market its going to feel like a disaster.
Sissoko at Spurs for example; £30m wouldn't seem so bad now if he had contributed in any way shape or form, but because of his abject failure to make any sort of impact they'll be struggling to get £15m back for him.Vive la FranceComment

prices are crazy this summer, first time I cant get my head around them. Why now, it seems like a 50/60 percent mark up from last summer?
the tv deal has already kicked in, it makes no sense. How much would Mane fetch now? 80 million?
Last summer we could have probably got Salah, VDV and Keita for the price of one of them this year.
It makes Klopps tight fisted way in the first few windows, a bit more annoying as theres no value now , now hes lashing it about no ****s given
