Either way, Robbo needs to be rested and Timi deserves another chance, Robbo has been a bit suspect defensively lately, his positioning has been a bit off.
Yeah I really don't want to blame him for Trossard's goal but he was so far behind our offside trap set by VvD that it made VvD look like a mug. A sharper mind would have held his nerve and the line and gotten us an easy offside.
Timi is probably our best deliverer of the ball in current form, specially corners. Almost worth a goal (at the right end) every game.
The corners and free kicks he takes arw infuriating, been saying it for the last year I just don't understand why he takes them. Constantly scuffs them and hits the first man.
Take him off set pieces for ****s sake. That might help. He cannot now nor has he ever been good at kicking a dead ball.
His delivery is non-existent these days, been woeful for months. Lost his spark and attacking intent. Needs a rest and Kostas is proving a worthy stand-in…
Agree he’s due a stint on the bench- that’s not only due to his inconsistent form, but also due to how good tsimikas has been every time he’s played.
I’ve been impressed with Tsimikas in every single game he’s played for us this season. And robbo has become a player that I’m worried about turning up- no disrespect to him, he’s just in a bad spell at the moment, and after the amount of games he’s played over the last few years, it’s probably to be expected. But I don’t get why he’s not been dropped for more than just one game at a time. Tsimikas has proven himself, needs to be given a a chance at an extended run in the team.
