If it’s only 1 or 2 at the most it could work but when a manager goes with 4 or 5 changes after a mixed amount of time in pre season it’s dangerous. Klopp took Moreno out of the firing line for nearly a whole season & look how that’s gone for them both. I think Solanke will be if it from the slowly slowly approach too.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

It's tough when living it in real time, for players and fans, but when you look back, it's great to see.
It shows Klopp's strength of conviction too. To be fair we've never had a dreadful spell of games since he's been here, just the odd disappointing game, so he's not been under huge pressure to make changes.

It's a shame we've not strengthened central defence but it makes you wonder if he's already decided that the answer can be found from players already here. I hope his approach means he intends to stay here a very long time

Our most exciting prospects in my opinion are TAA and Gomez and both look ready now but are being used cautiously. It's fooking great!

Ben Woodburn has been taken out of the firing line to continue his education even though many of us fans would like to see him get some minutes off the bench. We’ve a very strong bench though at present.

Forgot about him. Klopp's probably intensively morphing him and will unleash a monster next season

I think Ryan Kent has a big future too hopefully and his being shipped to Germany may be for a reason

Think it's more to do with the fact we have better cover than this time last year. If it wasn't for the experience of CL U-19's, I think we'd be considering sending him on loan in January.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

In the Paisley days, new signings - Dalglish and Sounness apart - were eased in. Jockie played left back for a while for eg.

Didn't Ian Rush play in the reserves for a bit until hitting the first team? I always thought that's how it worked in the past?

Youve kind of answered your own question.

Strength of conviction = VVD and not spending money last January.

Proved correct so far. We are comfortably fourth (should be much higher) but no chance of winning it.

Pissing money on second or third choices would set us back in the long term not improve us.

I think in 18 months we will have an awesome side, at least the second best in the league.

Yeah if it hadn’t of been for his involvement with the Wales NT I’d have been having doubts about his future with us.

Oh no doubt about that bud. No doubt at all. But after Woody playing for the Welsh national team I’d hoped to get a glimpse of him off the bench. But in Klopp I trust.

Pretty sure he did. IIRC he also went quite a few games before he got his first goal.
                          Really?

Apart from his delivery which really needs some work... He has been solid every time he has played. Should be a main stay there... will only get better with more game time surely

Has done alright.....bit inconsistent with his delivery, especially today, but doesn't look out of place in the side.

He’s been pretty stable at the back for us he’s got some work on his attacking play still but I think he makes us more solid at the back as a unit.

Mad Albert when fit will get games but between the two of them it will offer us options depending on what we think we might need in the game
