I thought of Hamez Milner straight away. You never know with Klopp though.

That’s our style of play & Bayern looked to expose both of our fullbacks willingness to get forward. It worked to an extent & both were caught out at times but they also offer so much threat going forward it’s worth the gamble that they’ll get exposed at times.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Certainly done a better job directly against Ribery on his side.
Robbo is doing fine, just in a few games lately he's just been a little sloppy in certain circumstances, majority of which haven't been punished.
No concerns as it's just a minor dip from his usual excellent level, and he's still offering an excellent outlet for Allison etc
Could have wrung his bloody neck at FT all the same."I will make the boys feel your support"

Posts seconds after a big win calling him a muppet/concern or claiming a shocking run of form don’t. They receive the online credibility shattering ‘Buzzo stamp of condemnation’. Not because it’s Robbo, but because it’s not true.Modifying post.

Interesting, what if the name Robbo is substituted by Moreno? After all it was a typical ‘Moreno’ lapse that gifted them their equaliserOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostThis post receives the much sought after ‘Buzzo seal of approval’.

The difference is that Robbos great performances have already banked him a hefty balance of credit. Morenos past misdemeanors mean any new mishaps just push him further into negative equity.Originally posted by Assassin View PostInteresting, what if the name Robbo is substituted by Moreno? I never went after Moreno like everyone else to be honest.Originally posted by Assassin View PostInteresting, what if the name Robbo is substituted by Moreno? After all it was a typical ‘Moreno’ lapse that gifted them their equaliser
It was a lapse. Gnabry made to drop deep, Robbo followed him, Gnabry doubled back and did him for pace taking advantage of the momentary forward movement. It happens, it lead to a goal that was the difference. The game was full of errors and misplaced passes, that this mistake lead to a goal is all that separates it. Van Dijk even gave the ball away in the second half not far out from goal.
The difference, is that other than the two incidents, I think Robbo had a decent enough game. He supports Mane excetionally well, and is a big part of Sadios recent run of goals (watch the space Robbos overlaps makes for him). You could also argue that Gnabry was Bayerns most affective attacker over both games though Coman did well when he came on.
I dont believe any players are struggling in the squad right now.
I love that at the post match footage the away support are singing Andy's song to help him through the disappointment of the booking. Van Dyck also told him to cheer up as the booking clearly affected him at full time.Last edited by Buzzo; 14-03-19, 09:05 PM.Modifying post.
