I'm no fan of Dundee United, but it has always irrationally pissed me off that English football fans never seem to get on to the fact that there are 2 Dundee clubs. In a parallel universe, Liverpool could have played Dundee United in the 1984 European Cup final. They got to the 87 UEFA cup final too, lost in 2 legs against IFK Gothenburg. It just seems a bit dismissive, they've had a lot of good players over the years. Apart from Duncan Ferguson, who was and will always be a big overrated ****house ****.

I've always been struck with having two stadia on the same street. I can't think of any other examples of such a thing.

Agree with that, just not influencing games for a while, playing like a standard LB rather than the attack minded assist machine like dynamo that we know he can be.

Some blame on Alex McLeish for that, has tried to shoehorn Keiran Tierney and Robbo into the national team.

also, when they started the conversation it went like this - no ****ing joke

"you know, the one we got from blackpool, Scottish lad"

One of my favorite players! I love to see him bombing forward to get a cross in, then two minutes later clattering an opposition player and taking the ball away. So good. He's come on leaps and bounds since he joined. I hope he keeps performing at this level and locks down the LB spot for years to come.
