He's greatOriginally posted by Buzzo View Post4th assist of the season for Robbo (and a 4-1 lead over Trent). I’d argue Robbo was our best player so far this season.
A perpetual motion machine.
I'd say Gini probably just edges it at this stage in terms of our best player. That being said Robbo has pretty much redefined the left back position.

He and Gini just show up every game with a minimum 8 out of 10. It’s like Salah with goals, very dependable.Originally posted by RichC View PostYou would
He's been brilliant this season, another absolute monster of a player that seems to be able ot do it week in week out.
In a season dominated by injury these 3 guys have fronted up every week.Modifying post.

Agreed- about Fabinho...
If we’re upselling players in other players threads, I’ll have to give a shout out to Fabinho, as my player of the season so far. At face value watching the games, you’d say he’s up there, maybe not the best player, but up there...
But when you factor in that he’s playing out of position, playing with a different center back partner every week, most of the time an unestablished one, I think he’s been amazing, and I reckon if an English player had done the job he’s done so far, there’d be a media walkathon for him.
When van dijk got injured, we all feared the worst- seasons over, will we go back to needing 5 goals every week, etc etc.. some of the optimists scraping the barrel saying things like if we are within 8 points of top on January 1st when we sign another center back, we can maybe still do it... and that was before Gomes got injured too!!! It takes an absolute mentality monster to cover for VVD, and Fabinho has done it immensely.
There’s 2 players that I would say our season would probably be over if they got injured for the season at this point (touch wood)- Alisson and Fabinho..I don't tip

I'd agree, the 'covid rest' really has done him the world of good!Originally posted by RedReet View PostHe was sensational first half last night.
I'm with Buzzo, been our best player this year for me.
He looked to be suffering more from fatigue than anyone after the title was won, but he's absolutely vital to us and he's been back to his best this season.Vive la France
