Loved that move early on when he came charging down the wing and into the box, the nod down to control the ball and power past Sissoko before laying off for Mo to shoot.

It epitomised everything good about Robbo and would have been an absolute belter of a goal if Mo hadn’t just poked the ball straight at Lloris.

His delivery on crosses and dead balls has been outstanding this season too.

He has taken his game on for sure. I think he gets us going quite often, gets us on the front foot. He made some sensational runs last night.

          Robbo’s like a ****ing terrier.

Sometimes he’s on the ball and gone past the player so quick it’s like he’s got a Mario Kart speed boost.
          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

And sometimes he loses the ball, like a couple of times last night........not a criticism, as its a high percentage tactic at speed.......but what is fantastic to see is the amount of times Henderson and Gini (and Mane of course) anticipate the possibility and go into a defensive mindset to prevent any fallout.
They were picking up an outstanding amount of loose balls last night in general, especially in the first half.

Boundless energy from Robbo who looks to be getting even ****ing faster. There was a moment when someone hiked the ball over, might have been Henderson that looked a little long, but it was actually a ball to pick out Robbo.....might have been Aurier who looked closer, but then all of a sudden the Flying Scotsman appears out of nowhere

Robbo did several unproductive back and sideways passes and he didnt seem to have options to go forward.
I wondered why he kept getting the ball played to him.
Someone made the point (in the curtis jones thread) about curtis playing to robbos feet and not in front of him to run on to. He cant get his body position right tolet loose his blistering pace when he is side on.
Im sure someone has now told curtis.

Sky ripping into him and its true, he's been way off his standards this season.

He's not alone and he'll come good again.

He started great but has been shocking recently. Everyone has to be fair, we're done this season.

He was really good for the first few months, even if you read back in this thread.

He looks ****ed now though. He physically and emotionally drained. But he is playing every game, it’s too much football.

Aye. Started well as anyone but gone completely now.

Not saying Tsimikas is the answer, but nothing against Robbo having a bit of a rest. As long as the other fella can be available. FFS.

Of course his form has dropped off if you think about the way that our fullbacks play they play an attacking role because the CBs and Henderson/Fabinho in midfield are able to fill in the spaces that they leave when they go forward. The CBs have been injured and the players that protect them from midfield have been removed to cover the CB positions. The impact on their game is massive, if they don't become more defensive we ship a **** load of goals, but in doing so they start from a deeper position. If they want to offer the same going forward that they did last year they either have to start a few yards deeper and either never get as far forward or they knacker themselves out trying to do that. I think that the impact on their game has been evident, TAA has been firing in crosses from deeper or has been getting caught out defensively, Robertson has been trying to get forward and it's not always happened or bust a gut getting up and down the pitch, with 2 games a week almost every week and the fact that he has played almost every minute of every game it's no wonder the guy is knackered.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Still, he's playing much better than Trent.
