    LAWS LOAN SWOOP FOR LINDFIELD

SHEFFIELD Wednesday boss Brian Laws will today try to sign Liverpool striker Craig Lindfield on loan.

Laws (above) watched the England Under-19 forward in action for the reserves yesterday.

Lindfield, 18, came through the youth ranks at Liverpool and played in pre-season games but is out of the first-team picture and would gain experience with the Owls.
Might be a good idea for him to go for a loan move to another championship club if not Sheff Wed, what do you reckon?

Good move, better than play for our reserve.

Id like to see how he would get on at another level, but I think its a bit of a mixed bag how they can get on, its not always a reflection of their tallent if they dont impress. IF the atmosphere is good in the dressing room id be more inclinded to let him go.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
