I obviously want a fit and happy coutinho but if not and we could somehow get Keita/VVD/a coutinho replacement in before the window goes then yeah sell himi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

^^ThisOriginally posted by cream View PostWe have to keep, selling would be immensely stupid seeing as we ****ing pathetic at transfers.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think the responses to this might change if you put prices that you would sell at, for example keeping him or selling him for £80m might be a no brainer, but keeping him or selling him for £150m could get different answers.
I would keep him because he is a quality player who we can't replace this late in the window and we would get screwed by any club we tried to buy from if they knew we had a load of money burning a hole in our pocket. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Pretty much agree with keeping him cos we can't seem to get in the players we want in the first place.
Easy to say but harder to do...Ask RBL & Southampton what they want for Keita & VVD and agree the sales then let Couts go. As for a replacement, im sure there's some brazillian attacking midfielder in brazil we can bring over with fancy footwork, creative passing and a decent long shot!?

Keep, we already have money and can't sign anyone. How poorly will we negotiate when other teams know we have 100m plus burning a hole in our pockets. If he doesn't want to play, fine. He can sit this season out and miss the world cup. If Swansea are turning down bids of close to 45m for Sigurdson, Coutinho should be worth over 150 at least.
