I am assuming the team will basically be the same, only question is over LB but I would be surprised if we swapped Moreno out after one game. I expect the same 11 as Watford, hopefully more switched on at set-pieces. You feel that how we defend is going to be key in this one.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Is it worth playing Solanke tonight for set pieces at both ends?

I'd love to see him play at some stage. Origi is ****e.

          But who should he replace?
As he is a attacker, and the attack is our strongest card. If he could play in midfield, maybe. Could we move Firmino further back as a attacking midfielder and put Solanke on top? Play wit two deep midfielder and let the attack sort itself?

Yep, I did find that strange.

Moreno: Excellent in pre-season. Rewarded with a starting place

Solanke: Excellent in pre-season. Doesn't get on.

Origi: Pretty awful in pre-season. Gets on ahead of Solanke.

Solanke and Origi seem pretty similar players too, so it really didn't make a lot of sense to me. Only one game though.

He's not starting ahead of Firmino but should be option #1 off the bench when we need attacking reinforcements or to add a second striker. He's ready ... he needs to be given a chance.

I know I don't think he will start but I think it would defiantly be an option off the bench. I would like him to but that would mean Klopp dropping one of the CM which he wont.

He should come on though instead of Origi to defend and attack. Even soaking up pressure will be a good option to bring him on. Origi just seems to chase the ball like a dog in the park I am hoping Solanke wins it.

makes sense to me. 1-0 loss does nit give us an away goal. 2-1 is much more desirable given how **** our defence is. we are unlikely to get a clean sheet at home.

Obviously a draw or win would be preferable. A 1 nil defeat is a pain in the arse
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

I hope we don't drop a CM to play another striker, with 3 men in midfield we are often carved open too easily, I dread to think what we'd be like with 2.

It's not a bad shout. It has some merit, essentially playing 4231, as a solution to out lack of creativity from the 3 midfielders.

More responsibility for Mane and Salah though which may also blunt them somewhat. My main issue is people tend to ask for unproven young players to solve problems which rarely is the answer.

                                i like it...
two big lads who can control the middle of the pitch and the space in front of the defence, dont leave it wide open as the three in front can then control the more advanced areas and do the main pressing. solanke up front worrying the defenders with firmino running around like a beaked up terrier.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
