        I'm not sure a CB needs rested after 2 games and if he does, then he's doing something wrong.

        If this decision was made with one eye on Wednesday, I think it's as much to do with giving Klavan a chance to prove himself as it is Lovren being tired. Unless of course he's got a slight injury.

                          Not really it still had Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia, Alonso, Hamann, Gerrard, Garcia, and Riise in it at some point so a pretty good spine.
