Thanjk you.

He's killed them in this game, talking **** about us and then lines up like that, genius.
I agree. He needed to sit back counter and play for set pieces. He got his arse kicked tonight and he should learn from it. Similar to when Rodgers went for the win against Chelsea. He was mouthing off quite a bit in the press saying he'll enjoy the game like he was going to win. Thst high line against Mane and Salah was suicidal. Moreno had a decent game tonight. He made that one rash challenge other than that he was good. They targeted him tonight and he stood up to it.

Maybe it is, but in all honesty I don't think that Hoffenheim played that well, they scored two goals that we could and should have prevented, perhaps there weren't the blatant errors that make it a shambles but that was a game that we shouldn't have conceded two goals in, at other times in the season, play like that will cost us.
Agreed, it's something we have to work harder to avoid.
I think what the 2 games with Hoffenheim has proven is that whilst Hoffenheim were the team we were hoping to avoid in the draw. We were the team NO ONE wanted to draw
****ing magnificent and back where we belong. Bring on Madrid, Bring on Barca, Bring on Bayern - **** it and enjoy the ride!
Best all round midfield performance in ages. What a difference it makes.
Much better but not surprising. You could see Hendo and Wijnaldum in particular were playing to 60% of their potential at best. It was only a matter of time before the fitness and sharpness kicked in. Looking forward to the Arsenal game now.
One point though, that Lecter has correctly observed in the past. Last night when the game became comfortable our midfielders starting taking it like a training session. Holding on to the ball a split second (and in Wijnaldum's case 5 or 6 seconds) too long. Defenders also started making training ground passes not worried about the outcome - Lovren, Matip and TAA in particular from the back. All either did end up or should have ended up punishing us. We wouldn't have lost but that's not the point.
This sounds like nitpicking but we've done it so often last season, many times resulting in drawing games we should have won, that it is worrying that we haven't moved past it. To be fair Klopp gave them all a kick up the arse near the end of the first half and we sorted our heads out but hopefully we can cut it out this season. This I believe is the difference between conceding two goals a game and conceding none.
