Man United play in Moscow the night after we do. Asking for trouble - although difficult to know if it'll be us scrapping them or joining forces for an unlikely alliance against the local Russian lunatics

As unlikely an alliance as the Lannisters and the Starks......
Happy with that draw. Sevilla and Moscow will be tough but getting 4 points of each is perfectly feasible. Need to look up where Maribor is! Moscow away late autumn is no fun though. Good luck with that!
I'm pretty happy with the draw. Part of me wants to play the harder teams as I like to see them at Anfield however, last time I paid around 170 for my 3 tickets and all I seen was s Balotelli penalty. Seville is a good chance to rid us of some ghosts. Hopefully though I get to see a few good knockout games then. I'd love Barca or Bayern.
I believe they are comparing revenues, in euros of the teams in each group over the last few (2?) seasons. The point is that Liverpool and Man City each have much higher revenues than the other teams in the groups, so really have no excuse for not qualifying.
However, with my financial hat on, this is nonsense as it is completely ignoring the cost of running a club in England. To be a fairer comparison it should be looking at net income, or some such measure.
Or if you prefer, you can safely ignore it as propagandist crap.
